Is Victory Bible Institute only for those called to full-time ministry?
No. Victory Bible Institute is a vehicle to firmly establish believers in the Word of God. It is designed to equip students with a working knowledge of the Holy Spirit in order to release the gifts God has put within them. It is also designed to train individuals to partner with their local pastor and take their place in the local church and the Body of Christ. However, VBI is also designed to equip those individuals who are called to full-time ministry. It is an avenue that will allow them to receive the necessary training without having to relocate their families and quit their current jobs until God releases them into ministry.
I am currently in full-time ministry and have never attended Bible school.
Would VBI be for me?
Yes. The training and curriculum is the same that you would receive at most Word of Faith Bible schools. Currently we have pastors and full-time ministers attending classes and working toward their certificates.
Can I enroll anytime during the year?
Yes. Enrollment is open at the beginning of each new subject.
What is a ministry practicum?
The ministry practicum requires each student to volunteer in their local church for 72 hours over a nine-month period of time.
What is the difference between a certificate student and an audit student?
A certificate student must attend all classes, read the text book, take exams, and write any required papers in order to earn their certificate of completion for a year of study. Our audit program is mainly for those who desire spiritual growth, do not wish to take exams or write papers, and/or do not have a high school diploma (or the equivalent) which is required to enter the certificate program. For audit students to receive their award of attendance, they must simply attend the classes (or listen to recordings of missed classes), read the book(s), and be actively involved in helps ministry for their Ministry Practicum requirements. Both certificate and audit students will walk in the regular annual graduation ceremony in a gown and receive their certificate of award of attendance.
Are classes done by video?
No. Victory Bible Institute believes that spiritual impartations take place when students sit under the anointing of gifted teachers. Therefore, we have live instruction from seasoned ministers and pastors who not only know the Word of God but impart real life experiences.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held at Victory Family Church, 21150 Route 19, Cranberry Township , PA. 16066. Students are to enter the main south doors of the building. All students will be required to register each night for class attendance. Security is on duty during all classes. Click here for directions.
Is any preference given to people who attend Victory Family Church over other students?
Church affiliation does not influence the staff of VBI. Anyone with a high school diploma or equivalent GED is welcome to attend the school.
Will the staff at VBI try to influence me to attend or join Victory Family Church?
No. While Victory Bible Institute classes are held at Victory Family Church, it is not the intent of anyone affiliated with the VBI program to persuade others to attend Victory or any other church in particular. Everyone is welcome to attend Victory, but the mission of VBI is to provide a vehicle which helps to firmly establish believers in the Word of God through anointed ministry and resource materials and train and develop them to partner with their local church in fulfilling the vision God has given to their local Pastor.
