I enrolled in Victory Bible Institute to deepen my understanding of the Word, to further my relationship with my Lord and Savior, and to equip myself to put on the new man of Christ so that I could live everyday in this crazy world with confidence, peace and victory. | When Victory Bible Institute began in the fall of 2006, I got excited about it and the Holy Spirit led me to attend, but I missed it. I struggled with seeing how to balance my family and work life and attend Bible College at the same time. I have focused on building a professional career in higher education over the last 30 years and at this point, I am fairly certain that God's call for my life is not for full-time ministry. As a result, I was under the impression that Victory Bible Institute would not be for someone like me. I knew a Victory Bible Institute first-year student however, and I could see his enthusiasm for how important the classes were becoming to his own spiritual growth and development. I became interested in what he was learning with each new class he took.
